"In order for the rice the food reserves must be available so that when one day there is shortage again, the food security office immediately release the rice stock in the service as well as the social office to immediately realize, prepare rice raskin that should be allocated for the benefit of the community. To be in Saumlaki City, there should be stock availability in order to ensure there is no shortage of rice in Saumlaki city, "said Bupati.

The Regent also reveals the scarcity of rice that occurs not due to the negligence of the Department of Industry, Trade and Labor but due to the delayed transport of sea tolls.

"The condition of rice scarcity that occurs today is not solely due to negligence of friends in the trade and industry but really because of the problem of sea toll transportation that is problematic because the tender is implemented by the central government in this case the ministry of transportation has delayed so that the ship should transport rice from Surabaya to saumlaki also experience delays, "he explained.
