Indonesian Prosecutor Arrests Fugitive 10 Years Attempted Murder in Singapore

JAKARTA, LELEMUKU.COM - The Indonesian Prosecutor's Office has succeeded in arresting and bringing the convict in the attempted murder case against Hermanto Wibowo.
The perpetrator, Hendra Subrata, arrived in Indonesia on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 19.40. He has fled to Singapore and has been a fugitive for 10 years.
According to the Head of the Attorney General's Center for Legal Information, Leonard Eben Ezen Simanjuntak, Hendra Subrata has been on the wanted list since 28 September 2011.
So far, Hendra has lived in Singapore by changing his identity as Endang Rifai.
"The convict was found in Singapore when he was about to renew his passport at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore," he said.
Hendra Subrata is a convict in the attempted murder of his business partner Hermanto Wibowo.
He hit his business partner several times with a barbell, so that the victim was injured and unconscious.
The West Jakarta District Court has sentenced Hendra Subrata to four years in prison on May 26, 2009.
He had filed an appeal, cassation, up to two reconsideration or PK. However, the whole process ended in defeat.
